There are many different sides to me and there are a lot of things I want to do in my life.
But the one thing I most definitely want to be a part of is an initiative which does some good for the people. There is a lot of confusion when I consider this because there is not much discussion about things like this.
Life is all about grades and how much people earn and not so much about doing something nice for someone else.
There is not much guidance available when it comes to volunteering and that is just as well.
A while ago I decided to find something by myself. After many hours, over a number of days spent in front of the google home page I found something which not only exists in Karachi but which made me think, “I want to be a part of this.”
It is the FESF ( Family Education Services Foundation) which has grabbed my attention.
Family Educational Services Foundation (FESF) is a non-profit educational organization active in Pakistan since 1984. FESF is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all members of the community, especially those who are disadvantaged. They invest in educational development and provide innovative training programs, developmental tools and services to enable recipients to gain competency and self-sufficiency, empowering them to reach their full potential.
It runs many different programs like The Deaf Reach Program, Dast’Khat, Eduserve Program, Move etc.
Seems like a brilliant plan to “Come Together to Change Lives”.
